Spa Top 10
No. 3 BrookLodge
BrookLodge Hotel & Spa offers such variety of treatments with well qualified therapists. I have never spoken to anyone who wasn't satisfied with their massages etc.
Their pool is a swim out to enjoy the beauty of the woodland and songbirds. They have a 'couples' chalet in the woods with two couches for massages or other beauty treatments where two therapists work on each client. Alternatively you can sit in the outdoor hottub and watch the sun rise or sunset.
Their Serail and Mud Chamber is another fabulous place to relax in the warmth of the mosaic tiled chamber. There several types of mud, clay, cleansing salts and mineral oils are there to be applied over the body, either by oneself or your partner, allowing time to sit in the steam and then rinse off using the hose in the chamber. This can be fun and is excellent for the skin.
Facials, manicures, pedicures are also available. Afterwards allow time to get ready and enjoy superb dining in the Strawberry Tree Restaurant - the only certified organic restaurant in Ireland. It is a place to experience the best of locally grown food and wild meats. They also have an Italian Bistro, a bar with its own brew and shops to buy organic produce and smokehouse in the Macreddin village. Horse riding is available and later in the year a Paul McGinley designed golf course will be completed so guests have a variety of things to do throughout their spa stay.
