The Meeting of the Waters, Avoca
Fifteen minutes from BrookLodge & Macreddin Village, the meeting place overlooks the converging waters of the Avonbeg and Avonmore rivers. It was immortalised by poet Thomas Moore in his poem ‘The Meeting of the Waters’:
